Leveraging on a booming China economy while the rest of the world resided in a slump, these Chinese companies appeared to bore sheer courage for buying out ailing world-wide vehicle makers. In a strategist point of view, this was clearly a bid to gain world-wide recognition for these home grown wannabes in the shortest time. After all, they have no lack of cash.
The move could prove to be very beneficial for consumer ends. Indeed, lower production cost and wide resources in the country could easily place a price tag that is affordable by most consumers. Apart from an enticing price tag, the technology acquired from their international counterparts may easily boost their status to a world class standard and thus garner consumers’ confidence.
In conclusion, while the home growns laugh all the way to the bank, nevertheless the consumers will stand to benefit the most. After all, it is a consumers’ world!
